Ann Arbor, MI- Jan Brandon is joining the judging panel for Mock Rock 2014. She will judge the performances of our talented student-athletes at Crisler Center on March 18, 2014.
Jan Brandon has established her self as a pillar of philanthropy in the Ann Arbor community. She and her husband, Dave Brandon, give to many organizations including Mott’s Children’s Hospital, and the University of Michigan Museum of Art, for which she has worked as a member of its National Advisory Board. Jan also served on the board of regents at the Eastern Michigan University from 2000-2006.
Mrs. Brandon has often expressed her passion for the University of Michigan and why Michigan is such a special place for her. “I think I could write a book containing the reasons. But, first and foremost, I would have to say it’s the students and the student athletes. Through my husband Dave’s role in Michigan Athletics, we have had the chance to get to know so many of the talented, smart, courageous men and women who compete wearing the Block M. And, they are nothing short of amazing. They inspire us each and every day!”
